In Hinduism, ‘Brahman’ is the unchanging reality amidst and beyond the world. Everything in existence exists is and as Brahman, which is though to be the highest level of reality and the creative principle out of which all things were born. It is the only thing that exists, and everything you see and experience (including your own consciousness) is a manifestation and formation of Brahman.
Brahman is really just another word for universal consciousness, and is one of the most influencial spiritual teachings in Vedic philosophy and Hinduism. So how does this tie into science? Everything in the universe is made up of molecules, which are made of atoms, which are made of subatomic particles, which are made of quarks, which are made of vibrating superstrings.
These superstrings are thought to be made of consciousness by people like Dr. Amit Goswami, Dr. Michio Kaku, and Dr. John Hagelin.
